This is the third year of the RPM Challenge’s “Blind Experiment In Chaos,” although it’s the first I’ve participated in. The RPM Challenge, as mentioned a few posts back, entails recording 10 new songs or 35 minutes of new music during the month of February. Somebody got the idea a couple years ago that it would be interesting to have people record long (but relatively sparse) tracks completely in isolation, and then one mixer would be in charge of taking all of the snippets and turning it into a 35+ minute composition.
